The Investigations division of the Panola County Sheriff's Department is comprised of one secretary and three deputies.  These deputies are responsible for investigating all felonies committed in Panola county, processing crime scenes, and the collection and preservation of evidence for criminal prosecution.  Investigators also see that felony cases are presented to a Panola county grand jury for indictments as well as testifying in circuit courts.
